Portland State Aerospace Society is an organization operated by Portland State University, focusing on intricate and meticulous rockets. I helped with the design and structural analysis on their latest rocket, LV3.1. The rocket is a test bed for a future liquid engine based spaceshot, testing carbon fiber nomex, isogrid aluminum, and a servo accuated recovery system. I joined in my sophomore year and performed structural analysis and design of several components. In large part due to my work and guidance, the rocket was integrated for the first time in September of 2025, and successfully launched to 15,000 ft last May!
